What the heck are these things?!

[nope. Haruhi's not really paying attention to the fact that she's just woken up after weeks of being asleep. she's turned the Dreamberry around to show a floating bedsheet ghost hovering in her room. it may look comical, but no one's wearing it. it's just hovering there.]

[Haruhi just watches him, blinking as that smile slowly slips.]

When you didn't wake up after a while, I was actually worried. What if you disappeared? What if I disappeared and you woke up only to discover I wasn't here anymore?

I could get used to people sleeping or coming and leaving...but not when it's you, Haruhi.

I know that being here has changed the way I've had to see things. Before I was more focused on the future and getting to that point. But now I want to make everything worth it because I never know how long it will last. Like you said to me, enjoy "experiences of all kinds"... That's why even though I wouldn't have agreed to it at home until much further along, once you said it I knew I want to marry you now.

If I ever wake up and you're gone, I'll know how things are. That you're home and with everyone... and I'll be back soon, as well. But for now, I just want to make the most of these experiences that we have in these moments.

[her tone is dry, but she's staying quite close.]
