♠ Dream ♠ [16]
Warnings: cavities. why are all her dreams like this
Effects: ...extreme fluffy, sweet, warm feelings (optional)
---------------------------------------------------
"HARUHIIIIIIII! I CAN'T FIND KUMA-CHAN!!"
A flailing, sobbing Tamaki might not be such a strange sight, but he's hurtling towards Haruhi in full panic as she sets down the book she's been peacefully reading. Tamaki stops in front of her, looking utterly depressed and pathetic.
"Kuma-chan's disappeared... and I promised we'd play..."
Haruhi sighs in response. "Are you sure you've looked everywhere?"
Tamaki nods, lowering his head. "And now he's upset."
There's a beat as Haruhi just looks at him, almost expressionless, then she smiles. "Kuma-chan has to be somewhere. Come on, we'll look together."
She stands, holding out a hand to Tamaki, who takes it and follows miserably behind as Haruhi leads him out of the living room, down a hallway, and through to another room. As soon as they enter, Haruhi lets go of his hand and heads over to a cushioned rocking chair in the corner as Tamaki drops to his knees and holds out his arms for something. She bends down, peering under the chair, then reaches under and pulls out a big brown toy bear.
"See?" Straightening. "He's been hiding things under here lately... he must have forgotten where he put him..."
There's a happy giggle as she approaches Tamaki and the little blond child he's holding in his arms. Tamaki's expression as he glances over at Haruhi is opposite what it was just a moment ago; there's a huge, silly smile on his face as he raises the little boy in the air and says, "It's okay, Mama found him! Daddy and Kuma-chan can play with you now, just like we promised!"
---------------------------------------------------
[it's waking out of such a warm feeling that takes Haruhi a long moment as she rolls over in bed. but eventually she does wake, blinking slowly, to be greeted with the blinking light of her Dreamberry that indicates recording.]
Eh....
[give it a minute. giiiiiiiiiive it a minute--]
EHHHHHHHH?!?!?!?!?
and now she realises what she's just dreamed and is scrambling for the Dreambery to shut it off oh my god]

[She's cried enough already. Even if she felt like crying she put on a brave face instead, not allowing herself to break so easily.]

I know it's not much and it's something anyone might say, but... I'm sorry, Rise-san.

[There's a lot of feelings still weighing her down, and the uncertainty of him possibly returning... with or without his memories of his stay. It still hung in the air. Did his departure mean Rise was allowed to move on or should she keep hoping? Waiting? It was a baffling situation...]
But you're right. More than anything, I hope that Akihiko-kun is happy back home.
