[upon hearing that, oh how his heart flutters and his spirit lift! ...what is with this turbulent wave of emotions? was this part of what he...talked about with Kaoru? he does notice it's only Haruhi who is causing these particular reactions. yes, he is usually "emotionally unstable" in the sense he is quick to rise and fall again, but it's to a different degree with this girl.
